Auren does not claim ownership over any third-party content.

This includes, without limitation:

• Trademarks

• Brand names

• Visual layouts

All rights remain with the original publisher or rights holder.

Content processed by Auren may originate from:

• Publicly accessible news websites

• User-submitted URLs

• Public RSS or API feeds

• Sources indexed by third-party discovery services

Auren does not bypass paywalls, authentication, or access controls.

Auren's use of content is transformative, meaning:

• The purpose differs from the original publication

• New analytical meaning is added

• The original work is not substituted or replicated as-is

• The output serves an informational and analytical function

Transformations may include:

• Summaries

• Bias and tone analysis

• Credibility scoring

• Claim extraction

• Contextual framing analysis

• Cross-article comparisons

By default, Auren displays summaries and analytical extracts, not full articles.

These summaries are:

• Generated algorithmically

• Designed to reduce time and information overload

• Intended to complement, not replace, the original source

• Clearly marked as summaries or analysis

In certain cases, Auren may display article text in a reading or analysis mode, subject to strict conditions:

• The display is explicitly initiated by the user

• The user provides or selects a specific URL

• The content is shown for personal analysis and understanding

• Original source attribution is always visible

• Links to the original publisher are provided

• The feature is framed as a reading or analysis view, not republication

This mechanism is user-directed access, not editorial redistribution.

Whenever third-party content is referenced, analyzed, or displayed, Auren applies the following attribution principles:

• Clear identification of the original publisher

• Display of the source name and domain

• Prominent links to the original article

• Preservation of contextual integrity where applicable

Attribution is designed to:

• Respect publishers' rights

• Encourage users to consult original sources

• Avoid confusion about authorship

When users save articles:

• Only references, metadata, and analysis are stored by default

• Saved items remain tied to the original source

• Saved status does not imply ownership or redistribution

• Saved content is private to the user and not publicly republished

Auren does not position itself as a replacement for news publishers.

We do not:

• Market ourselves as an alternative to subscriptions

• Remove branding or attribution

• Present third-party content as our own

• Aggregate full articles for mass consumption

Our platform is designed for analysis, not consumption replacement.

• Does not assert truth or falsity of third-party statements

• Provides analysis and contextual signals only

• Acts as an intermediary platform
