Who Can File a Dispute

  • Publishers: News organizations whose articles have been analyzed
  • Journalists: Individual reporters or authors of analyzed articles
  • Readers: Users who believe an analysis contains errors
  • Researchers: Academic or independent researchers identifying systematic issues

Valid Reasons for Dispute

We Will Review Disputes For:

  • Factual Errors in Analysis: The analysis contains demonstrably incorrect statements about what the article says or contains
  • Misattribution: The article is attributed to the wrong publisher or author
  • Context Omission: Important context that significantly changes the analysis was not considered
  • Technical Errors: Our system misread, truncated, or failed to process the article correctly
  • Systematic Bias: Evidence that our analysis consistently treats similar content from your outlet unfairly compared to others

We Cannot Review Disputes Based On:

  • • Disagreement with the analysis conclusions without demonstrating factual error
  • • General objection to being analyzed
  • • Preference for different scoring methodology
  • • Belief that your outlet should receive higher scores
