Auren's core activity is transformative processing, including:

These activities are designed to:

They do not replace the original work.

Auren may display article text in a reading or analysis mode, subject to the following safeguards:

• Content is displayed only after explicit user action

• Content is tied to a specific user-submitted URL

• Original source attribution is preserved

• Content is not marketed as a substitute for the original

• Users are encouraged to consult the original publisher

This mechanism is user-initiated access, not redistribution.

Auren's handling of content relies on:

• Directive (EU) 2019/790 (DSM Directive)

If you believe that content accessible through Auren infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown request.

We respond promptly and in good faith.

2. Identification of the specific URL or content on Auren

3. A description of how the content allegedly infringes your rights

4. Your full legal name (or company name)

5. Your contact information (email required)

6. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized

7. A statement that the information is accurate

8. A statement made under penalty of perjury that you are the rights holder or authorized agent

Incomplete notices may be rejected.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, Auren will:

1. Acknowledge receipt

2. Review the request internally

3. Assess whether:

• The content is user-initiated

• The use is transformative

• The display is incidental or analytical

4. Take appropriate action, which may include:

• Temporary removal

• Permanent removal

• Restriction of access

• No action (with explanation)

Where legally appropriate, users may submit a counter-notice asserting lawful use.

We reserve the right to restore content if:

• The claim is withdrawn

• The claim is invalid

• No legal action is initiated within required timeframes

Any removal or restriction of content by Auren:

• Does not constitute an admission of infringement

• Is performed without prejudice

• Is done solely to comply with legal obligations or mitigate risk

We reserve the right to:

• Reject abusive or bad-faith takedown notices

• Limit interactions with repeat abusive claimants

• Require additional verification

For defamation or reputational concerns:

• Copyright takedown procedures are not the appropriate channel for defamation disputes

• We do not adjudicate truth or falsity of third-party claims
